ARB/SILVA Training

Regular workshops for basic and advanced ARB/SILVA users including comprehensive lectures on phylogenetic tree reconstruction and probe design are operated by Ribocon in cooperation with the MPI in Bremen, Germany.

The courses represent the official workshops of the ARB/SILVA project and are held at least once a year.

The currently five full-day training in Bremen is offered for EUR 654.50 per participant (incl. 19% German VAT).

  • Standard training on Phylogeny, ARB & Probe Design - 3 days in January, 2009, at the Biotechnology Research Institute in Montreal, Canada
  • Specific training on ARB, Classification & Phylogeny - 2 1/2 days in October, 2007, at the German Collection of Microorganisms and Cell Cultures (DSMZ) in Braunschweig, Germany.
  • Condensed training on Phylogeny, ARB & Probe Design - 2 1/2 days in August, 2007, at the Netherlands Institute for Ecology (NIOO-KNAW) in Heteren, the Netherlands.
  • Standard training on Phylogeny, ARB & Probe Design - 3 days in July, 2007, at the Desert Research Institute (DRI) in Reno, Nevada, USA.

 

In total, more than 400 participants from all over the world have been taught by our experts since 2005!
