- As a partner of the Microbial Interactions in MArine Systems (MIMAS) project, Ribocon does software and database development for the integration of (meta)genome, transcriptome and evironmental data. The MIMAS project ( official MIMAS webpage) is supported by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and involves the leading institutions of German Marine Research.
- In cooperation with the Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology in Bremen, Germany, Ribocon has build and maintaines the SILVA rRNA Database Project ( official SILVA webpage). SILVA represents the acknowledged successor of the European Ribosomal RNA Database and one of the two main rDNA databases in the world.
